In 2018, I took my first step by breaking up with a 2 year relationship, dropping out of college, and chasing my dream to be own my own business. I moved from Atlanta, Georgia my home all my life to San José, California to knock doors and sell bug spray.
From selling with Aptive, I started helping my team recruit. That lead me to loving that process more than personally selling and I became obsessed with inspiring greatness in others. I never wanted the spotlight but I loved making other people the hero.
That obsession with the process of developing and growing culture lead me to my first corporate career with Caliber Smart. I started as a web and graphic designer, within 2 years became the director of marketing for their solar sales side and then the entire organization. Then I left Caliber to become the VP of Marketing for Freedom Solar Pros and helped completely build the culture, incentives, brand, gear, and entire rep experience program from the ground up. Over the past 2-3 years we've seen Solar Pros become the largest name in solar sales.
First step is our ELITE brand strategy system. This process will take about 2 weeks and is one of the most valuable aspects of our REGION and above brand packages.
Designing competitions is essential for motivating and keeping guys moving. I have been personally responsibile for managing hundreds of thousands of dollars in competition and incentive spend at both companies I worked for.

Two major human needs is Growth and Contribution. This need is easily fulfilled in the training program of your team, region or org. It gives elite guys an opportunity to contribute to the teams success and become 'the face' of the brand. And gives new reps opportunities to grow form the knowledge and experience of the elite reps.
Social proof is a massive recruiting tool and internal retention tool. Reps need to see themselves as the hero and feel a greater sense of significance. Being featured on social channels gives them the social recognition they need. When recruiting it also becomes your history book and your story of the success of those in your org and how that success can be duplicated to the recruit.
Trips and Events inspire culture development in ways that cannot be achieved anywhere else. There's an art to designing and structuring elite events and trips that allow your top performers to achieve massive growth and help others within your org have something to work towards and aspire to achieve.
